Backend Developer (PHP)

We are looking for a talented Mid-Level PHP Backend Developer to join our remote team and contribute to the development of robust, scalable, and efficient backend systems. If you’re passionate about coding, have a deep understanding of PHP, and want to work in a flexible, dynamic environment, this role is for you!

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2-4 years of experience in backend development using PHP.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and MVC frameworks like Laravel or Symfony.
• Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
• Knowledge of MySQL or other relational databases, including writing complex queries.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Basic understanding of frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines.

• Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization tools.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Experience with unit testing and test-driven development (TDD).
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
