Requirements:

  • 2 to 3 years of professional experience in WordPress development.
  • Proven experience in SEO techniques and tools.
  • Experience with event posting and management on WordPress.Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
  • Familiarity with WordPress frameworks and builders like Elementor or Divi.
  • Knowledge of web standards, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms like WordPress and WooCommerce.
  • Familiarity with other CMS platforms.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design tools like Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.

Responsibilities

  • Website Development and Maintenance: Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites | Implement and manage themes and plugins | Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs | Optimize websites for maximum speed and scalability | Troubleshoot and resolve website problems |
  • SEO Optimization: Implement SEO best practices to improve site rankings and visibility | Conduct keyword research and use SEO guidelines to optimize content | Monitor and analyze site performance using SEO tools | Stay updated with the latest SEO trends and algorithm changes |
  • Event Posting and Management: Create, update, and manage event listings on WordPress sites | Ensure events are displayed accurately and timely | Work with marketing and event teams to gather and post event details | Use event management plugins or custom solutions to enhance event visibility and user engagement |
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with designers, content creators, and marketing teams | Participate in project planning and provide input on improving web functionalities | Provide training and support to team members and clients on using WordPress and related tools |
